About us

Our school is a non-subsidised school which has been providing education for 40 years through a project based on teaching quality, innovation, values and foreign languages.

With our own specific General Educational Principles, reflected in the design of our syllabus, anticipating the requirements of the Spanish Education Improvement Act (Ley Orgánica para la mejora de la calidad educativa – LOMCE). From the age of 2 years old through to University, we prepare our pupils for their future where foreign languages and Information and Communication Technologies are indispensable tools.

We are authorised to teach Infant, Primary, Secondary and 6th Form Education, and are therefore a Bilingual English School in Zaragoza taking children through their studies to pre-University level.

An excellent team of teachers and auxiliary services personnel, along with a Quality Management System, certified by SGS in the European Quality EFQM model, means we are able to achieve excellent results in the University Access Exam.

Our school has comfortable, modern facilities in a natural environment covering an area of 50,000 m2, with the possibility of expanding into adjacent land for sports facilities. The School consists of an Infant School Building, another Primary and Secondary School building, and the recently built Sixth Form Building, accounting for a total built area of 10,000 m2,

How is the British School organised?

The Schools special organisation means that parents, as members of the British School of Aragon Cultural Association, are the true driving force behind our school. We stand out for our personalised education and a warm, harmonious atmosphere, which we achieve with classes of an average of 20 pupils, and a teacher / pupil ratio of 1:11 and close collaboration between parents, tutors and the Orientation Department which is always there to guide us.
