A privileged enviroment
The British School of Aragon is located in the municipal district of Cuarte de Huerva, seven kilometres to the south of Zaragoza, in a natural environment and strategically communicated via the Z40 road and the A-23 (Mudejar Motorway). The entire perimeter is surrounded by native vegetation and is very sunny, without any industrial or commercial buildings, thus making for a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that is ideal for academic work.
Our school has comfortable, modern facilities in a natural environment covering an area of 50,000 m2, with the possibility of expanding into adjacent land for sports facilities. The School consists of an Infant School Building, another Primary and Secondary School building, and the recently built Sixth Form Building, accounting for a total built area of 10,000 m2. We have an assembly hall with capacity for 350 people, a canteen for pupils and canteen for teachers, kitchen, several laboratories, two IT classrooms, one used for robotics, and two libraries.
The Primary and Secondary School Building is to undergo a complete overhaul this summer, in accordance with our Educational and Methodological Project, which will be a benchmark in school innovation and architecture.
We also have three car parks with nearly 400 parking places, a 2000 m2 sports hall, rugby fields, basketball pitches, football pitch, multi-purpose area, play areas and gardens.
