Hoy, en el blog de CAS (Creatividad, Actividad y Servicio) de nuestros alumnos de Bachillerato Internacional  Emma Garrido ha entrevistado a Aránzazu Morán y Claudia Casao.

We are now in the beginning of March and the IB students are proudly sharing their CAS experiences. This month I had the pleasure of interviewing Aranzazu Moran and Claudia Zarate who collaborated with the Zaragoza Food Bank last November in a supermarket as volunteers to raise funds for those in need.

This experience opened their eyes to a very grave issue that feels impossible to tackle but by doing their part both Aranzazu and Claudia felt a sense of accomplishment and new found appreciation to all the organisations and volunteers that put in work, effort and their time for such a selfless cause. “We realised how hard volunteers actually work and how generous they are, it’s truly a gratifying experience to volunteer” Claudia Zarate told me.

Thanks to this experience they were able to be a part of a greater community that is empathetic and works hard so those who are suffering through hard times get some of the support that they need.
