British School Activities
Extracurricular Activities are planned and organised at the school for all pupils aged 4 to 11 years old. The timetable is from 13:00 to 15:00 depending on the tie when the pupils have their lunch. With this arrangement, the younger children, from 4 to 7 years old, carry out activities every day of the week, choosing 2 different extracurricular activities – one they do three days a week and the other two days. The older children, between 8 and 11 years old, can choose the activity they want to do 3 days a week.
The choice of activities varies every term, and our pupils can continue with the same activity or change to another one, so that they have the chance to do up to 6 different activities throughout the school year from the options organised by our Extracurricular Activities Department.
The teachers in charge of each activity are assigned to the Extracurricular Activities Department, and are selected according to their sports or academic qualifications and their personal values, as per the requirements for each of the activities.
The activities are different and are adapted to the ages of the pupils. They are delivered in English, French, German and Chinese, thus complementing their multi-lingual education in a more recreational way.
In the afternoons, when classes finish, the School also provides different activities for its pupils, usually sports and Federated Teams, representing CBA in different competitive sports, which are optional and open to pupils of all ages (Infant, Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form) who want to enjoy their free time in a familiar environment, at the school without the need to travel elsewhere at the end of the school day. There is a wide choice adapted to the demands of our pupils.
